Our Play and Stay Staff

Jess joined our team in June of 2025 as an assistant manager. Jess has 6 dogs & a cat. She loves beagles, dog training & stray animals! She specializes in dog training, behavior, & nutrition. She has been in the dog field for 4+ years, after she got her first pup, Fletcher!  

Christian joined us for grooming in July 2025! He's currently taking appointments on Tuesdays and some Thursdays. We are excited to have him back at the Play and Stay!

 Gracey joined our team in September of 2024. She has worked with animals for 2 years but has always been an animal lover. She has a cat of her own named Moonee! 

Brenda joined our team in December of 2024. She has always been an animal lover! She is currently a Biology major at Kennesaw State University with the goal of becoming a Veterinarian. 

Samantha joined our team in September of 2023 as a kennel assistant. She has worked as a Veterinarian technician for 10+ years until she joined us at the Play & Stay. She has 2 cats named Todd and Belle!

 Masyn joined the team in September 2024 as a kennel assistant. She is a student at Kennesaw State University and is working towards a degree in the health sciences. She is a big animal lover and has spent the last decade riding and caring for horses as she hopes to become an equine vet one day. She’s had many pets (including rats!) but for now it’s just her dog, Roulette. 

Robin joined us in December of 2024 as a kennel assistant. They have 3 pet fancy rats named Sprout, Marmalade, and Boba. They recently graduated from Oglethorpe University as a Biology major. They also have volunteering experience in wildlife/rehabilitation. 

Kaitlin joined us in April of 2025 as a kennel assistant. (More details coming soon!)

Charlie joined us in May of 2025 as a kennel assistant.  Charlie is a lifelong lover of animals with two dogs and a cat of his own. He also volunteers for FurKids and helps run cat adoption events for FurKids East Cobb. 

Mars joined us in June of 2025 as a kennel assistant.  He has 2 dogs named Rocky Andrews and Princess Breakfast. He previously studied Apparel Textile Technologies and Cosmetology, but always finds himself coming back to his long term passion for working with animals. 

Caylen joined us in June of 2025 as a kennel assistant. She has cared for animals her whole life - from hermit crabs, fish, and rats to cats, dogs, and horses! She currently has two curious rats, Gumbo and Big Mac, and a chunky cat named Batman. She's been riding horses for the past year! She cares for all animals and is committed to providing the highest level of care and compassion. 

Gage joined us in July of 2025 as a kennel assistant. Gage has 6 dogs & a cat. He loves huskies, his pups, and fishing! He specializes in working with behaviorally challenged dogs. He’s been working with dogs for 8 years, as his mother is a dog person too. 

Makayla joined us in August of 2025 as a kennel assistant. She loves to play video games in her free time with with her dog Butters and cat Waffles. She has multiple years of experience working with dogs and loves all animals!

Quinn joined us in August of 2025 as a kennel assistant. (More details coming soon!)
